Köyümüz; eski ismi VAZILDİMANA olan köyün DİMANA mahallesiydi.1954 yılında bu köy ikiye ayrılarak YEŞİLTEPE ve FISTIKLI KÖYÜ isimlerini almıştır. Köyümüzde şimdi 4 sülale vardır.(kamçı, taşçı, güner, kasap) Köyümüz ayrıldıktan 15 yıl sonra ancak köyümüze yol gelebilmiştir. Yol köyün kamçılar tarafın da kalmış Taşçılar tarafına tam olarak 8 yıl sonra ulaşmıştır. Yol geldikten 7 yıl sonra (1976) elektrik köyümüze ulaşmıştır. Köyümüzün camisi 1933 yılında tamamen köylü tarafından yaptırılmıştır. Köyümüzde ilk eğitim yeri 1969-1971 yılları arasında dam diye tabir ettiğimiz ahşap bir yapının altında açılmıştır. Köyümüzün ilk öğretmeni de SUNAY GÜLTEKİN(KARS) olmuştur. Bu yerde 2 dönem eğitim görüldükten sonra köylü tarafından 2 derslikli bir okul yapılmıştır. Bu okulda 20 yıl kadar eğitim yapıldıktan sonra köyün merkezinde yapılan okula geçilmiştir. Bu okulda 14 yıl kadar eğitim yapıldıktan sonra öğrenci azlığından dolayı 2005-2006 eğitim yılında taşımalı sisteme geçilmiştir.
